Avoid second-hand stuff at all costs

We all have heard cases of people being duped to purchase items which were either stolen from original owners or acquired through dubious means.
I will really advise everyone to never buy anything form anyone whatsoever. I have done some research  and see the narration of what one Kenyan went through below;

"Exactly 3 years ago, I was picked by DCI officers from my business premises in Busia. I was being accused of murder. I was forced to take them to my house, which they turned upside down looking for a gun. Then I was taken to Busia police station where I met 2 other guys who apparently were my partners in crime. We were then ferried to Awasi sugar plantations in a convoy of 7 DCI vehicles. Guns were cocked and pointed at us, we were asked to produce guns we used to kill people. Scariest day of my life. After telling them we were unaware of what they were saying, a laptop which was pulled from my shop, and a phone tha was taken from my 'partners in crime' were fished out and the cops demanded we explain where we got the items from. I remember I started laughing so hard and uncontrollably I don't know if it was because I was scared shitless or because of relief...I mean, I knew exactly where the laptop came from. I remember nilipigwa ngumi na karao nikarudi default settings nikaanza kuexplain.
See this laptop was given to me by my immediate neighbour (a Kenya Prisons officer). He was financially pressed and in need of quick cash, and he thought since I owned a computer shop, why not have it on display there, once it's sold, the business will get a cut. That saved our asses. We were taken back to the vehicles and taken to Ukwala Police station and thrown into the cells there. I was later picked to give the details of the prison officer. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that that same week, he had been transferred to Naivasha GK. They mobilised DCI officers Naivasha branch, who then raided the house of that cop, and behold, they found a pistol dismantled and hidden in a diaper wrapping. A sense of relief but we had to go to court the next day. They asked for 10 days to do further investigations. Meanwhile the cop was taken to Siaya police station. Now the second night in this cell, we started talking, just to kill time. These co-accused started describing the person who sold them the phone (they run a phone store), and yes, it's the same bloody prison officer. Next day we were ferried to Siaya to identify the person from a parade...one by one of course. I pointed out the guy, and these two also pointed out the same guy. Things were starting to easen up now...there was one issue now, possession of stolen property charges but the officers were quick to cut us a deal. We would walk if we testified in court. We didn't think twice. This day we were in court testifying, we were shocked to learn that this guy was being charged with 6 counts of murder. There is another witness, who this guy shot and left for dead, but she survived. The lady owned an MPesa in Teso. I remember when we were being taken back to the cells, Kakamega based DCIs were outside waiting to take him to Kakamega to answer for some other robbery with violence charges.
Long story short, we were released 10 days later. Tangu hiyo siku, I never accept items even from people I know iwekwe kwa shop, and I made it understood by the lady who runs the shop for me. The laptop and phone were stolen and the owner killed. Sisi na ujinga wetu we never thought of that. Anyway, you live you learn." (A story by Machongo (@derrick_dre) on twitter)

Having read the above one scenario out of the untold many, i feel it would just be nice for you to buy a new electronic from an electronic shop however expensive it would be. Other than avoiding stolen items, you have the advantage of enjoying the warranty attached to most items bought through the right way.

RICH HABITS YOU SHOULD DEVELOP IN 2018

The first month of the year 2018 has come to an end. At the beginning of the month of January, many people formulated their new year's goals and aspirations. Many people are still psyched up with a goal of attaining their new year's resolutions at the end of the year 2018 but many will loose focus by the fourth month of the year.

Let's concentrate on where we are right now; getting into February 2018. I came up with some traits/habits that you should develop for the year 2018.

Many people have always had the desire to be rich and get out of the poverty or middle-class bracket.
This will definitely become easy for you if you cultivate some rich habits this year.

Live Within Your Means

Avoid buying things you cannot afford especially the things you buy on credit; this is unnecessary
spending. Use the things that fall within your budget. Everyone has something they can buy from the
market despite the amount of money they have. This is why we have clothes for 100 dollars and others can even be bought for less than 5 dollars simply to satisfy everyone’s need. That is what the diverse market offers to us the consumers. Make sure you avoid unnecessary debts this year, be it from banks, micro-finances, friends or family members.

Read Everyday

E.P. Whipple said, "Books are lighthouses erected in the great sea of time". Reading new information increases your knowledge about your general life, business, career, social life and health.
Successful people read always to separate themselves from the competition. Instill the habit of reading books and information that is beneficial to you and that will help you grow this year.

Set Goals Not Wishes

You cannot control the outcome of a wish but you can control the outcome of a goal. Don’t live your life wishing for good things to happen or miracles to come to you, they will not come. Take an initiative, set achievable goals and work towards achieving them. Once you achieve set more challenging ones. Rich people always have financial goals despite the huge amounts of money they have or earn. After setting goals there comes plans on how to achieve the set goals. The rich always have a laid up plan on how they are going to achieve their laid down plan.

Never Ever Give Up

Babe Ruth once said, "You just can't the person who won't give up". For the remaining part of the year,be focused, persistent and patient while pursuing your goals. Focus will keep you interested and more motivated and therefore you will keep on moving no matter the situations or failures that may come along the way.
This attribute called patience will allow you to wait until that time you will attain your set goals. When an idea of giving crosses your mind, always remind yourself that something good is coming your way.

Avoid Procrastination

When we procrastinate, we squander away our free time and put off important tasks we should be
doing them till it’s too late. And when it is indeed too late, we panic and wish we got started earlier. The chronic procrastinators I know have spent years of their life looped in this cycle. Delaying, putting off things, slacking, hiding from work, facing work only when it’s unavoidable, then repeating this loop all over again. It’s a bad habit that eats us away and prevents us from achieving greater results in life. For 2018, don’t let procrastination take over your life. Always take an action upon any idea or anything that you want to do. Act on an idea immediately it is conceived!

Is NASA a Creation of Uhuru? An Urgent Letter to Raila

National Super Alliance famously known as NASA is becoming very famous in a big way. Many would not imagine such an alliance is basically less than 6 months in the political field in Kenya.

So, what is NASA?
In my opinion, can term this as the youngest alliance in Kenyan politics. It is an idea that the former deputy prime minister Musalia Mudavadi came up with. His main idea was to come up with a strategy to unseat the current government led by  president Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta. He therefore decided to join Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD)

I quote the daily nation "The four – ODM’s Raila Odinga, Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka, Ford-Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula and ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi – signed a memorandum to seal the unity pact at a ceremony in Nairobi witnessed by more than 5,000 aspirants gathered in the Bomas of Kenya ballroom. The pact was also signed by Kanu Secretary-General Nick Salat."

After this colorful event, many Kenyans are now convinced, with the new outfit - NASA, the opposition will be able to unseat the current government. But is this the truth??
In my opinion this is the winning team if they are to remain united. But wait.....

Is Mudavadi ready to step aside for any other leader to carry the NASA flag? Is Raila ready to step aside for another leader to be the presidential candidate.
No one knows but God. After the 8th of August 2017 - Election day, the truth will be known. The truth about who will lead us for the next five years.

Am already anxious and i know well you are anxious too. But please click on the below link and see what others had to say...

REMOVING YOUR NAME FROM TRUECALLER

The introduction of truecaller was received well by everyone who owns a smartphone. This is because it simplified what was a headache for people trying to find out who is calling from the other end. But people will also wish to have their anonymity when they call someone....

 Coming to think of it.....

Many have asked how this can be done...

I did a thorough research and came up with the following link
