ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT REQUIRED
We are a leading manufacturer and distributor of Personal Protective Equipment in the wider East African region. We’re looking to hire a highly efficient and effective Accounts Assistant who will be reporting to the Finance Manager.
Accounting Duties & responsibilities
Maintenance of the general ledger.
Maintenance of accurate stock ledger and fixed assets ledger.
Handling of office petty cash.
Proper maintenance and management of all financial documents in an orderly manner.
Post details of the daily transactions to the existing accounting software in this case
Assist in accurate and timely preparation and consolidation of financial reports.
Qualifications & skills requirements
Minimum of CPA sec 6 or equivalent.
Good accounting skills.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a multi currency organization.
Conversant with QuickBooks & Pastel accounting systems.
Process thinker, excellent communicator, excellent interpersonal skills, high degree of integrity and professionalism.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
